Review: BOOM! Hot Cakes Bass launch their 2018 agenda with an unsurprisingly devilish pack of neuro-funk, coming from Dryman, Denior and Scruffizer, the latter of whom drops some absolutely greezy vocals on us through "Some More", a classic UK hybrid crossing garage, dubstep and bassline house. Remix duties are plentiful, coming from the one like Lucent, who deploys a killer slew of dub science, a more wobble-friendly version from Killjoy, and Jay Robsinson's hyped-up house-techno infusion. Rollerz!

Review: Dryman returns to the inimitable Meanbucket label with a rip-roaring remix EP. "Human Distribution" and "So Much Love" receive a proper treatment from a diverse bunch of producers, most notably by Bad Mojo with his techy, filthy house stomper on the former, and by DJ Tuco's neo-jungle movements on the latter. It's something which everyone can dig their fangs into and get seriously twisted over on the dancefloor. Dryman's on a cool run as of late, don't miss it!

Review: A truly Euro release, this new collection from Finland's bass aficionados Top Billin, sees the label source hot upcoming Czech and Slovakian talent. Dryman kicks things of in a proper carnival fashion with the percussive frenzy of "Trombona", "Bratislava Bass" sees Bad Mojo look to 80s electro for inspiration, Mitewort's "Country Club" is all deep house, while Veit B "Night Rider" goes for hands in the air trance synths. However it's Side9000's storming bleepy electro-house number, "My Hood", that really steals the show.
