Review: Right about now we are absolutely thrilled to be jumping into a brand new box of dubstep delights, as the Surfase imprint bring forth this crazy compositional collection from Dubape. We Begin our trek with the enlightening title track 'Attention Span', which weaves subtle dubwise grooves with tense atmospheric meanderings. Next, the eastern inspired latherings of 'MT' and the swampish LFO lead lines of '12' are set loose amongst the tracklisting. Finally, the EP rounds off with a bang as the reckless rolling drum reels of 'Awake' usher forth beneath a bed of soulful horn harmonies and twisting melodies, bringing a refreshing switch up the whole project.
