Review: A very exciting link up is on display with this one as we see heavyweights across two genres combine, with Grime legend Footsie teaming up with Dubkasm for a vibrant dubwise display. We open up with the marching drumlines, heavyweight subs and system-ready bounces of 'Soundman Ting', setting the pace levels high before 'Bring The Hertz' sees us explore a much more reverberated soundscape of dizzying delays and tidy chord arrangements. Next, a harder hitting feel as the drums are beefed up a tad for 'Riddim No Schism', with the Iration Steppers rework of 'Vanguard Touchdown' arriving in style as a dubbed out remix finale. Firstly, we take a stroll through Phaeleh's dubwise re-think of 'Missaoo', a fluttering composition packed with shimmering, gliding synths and potent sub textures. We also hear Sam Binga's percussive prowess glistening throughout his lively overhaul of 'Monte De Sioo' alongside Ras B. Review: Following on from an impressive run of releases, we see Dubkasm revisit his Rastrumentals series here with a pair of top draw remixes, both encompassing something completely different. We first take a look at the Alter Echo & E3 remix of 'Lei Aurea',a stunning piece of sound design driven by grizzly sub bass structures and some super impressive synthesizer work. On the flipside we then take a closer look at the Om Unit rethink of 'Eco Do Jongo', which of course features Ras B for some wicked vocal additions that work perfectly over Om Unit's stripped back remix approach.

Review: Powerful contemporary dub from the MindStep crew. Jeph1 provides a perfect spacious dynamics for Leicester's premiere conscious ambassador I-Mitri. Embracing the true sentiments of dub and applying loopy, textured techniques, it's at once heavy and meditative. Remix-wise Dubkasm gets his digidub on, Trashbat soothes our soul with slinky, soulful future garage breezes and The Illuminated take the groove down to the darkest dungeon possible, providing some great space for I-Mitri's vocal. This fire is going to burn for a long, long time.
