Review: In the near 6 years Southpoint has been up and operational, we have seen them constantly supply us with wicked compilation sets, always looking to showcase the next big talent whilst also welcoming back their stacked roster for another outing. The collection they have pulled together for this latest drop is pretty powerful, with label regulars Cortese, Daze Prism, TVU, Drax, Earthnut, Hamdi, Jakebob, Kiddah, EM-Roe & KXVU all making solid contributions. They also welcome the likes of Demure, DV-US & Vital Techniques back inside, following on from some very exciting single drops, whilst also introducing us to one of the stars of the future in Clarcq, a Scottish UKG producer whose infectiously uplifting 'Siren' leads the way here. Excellent work once again.

Review: Right from the off we knew we were in for an absolute treat with this one, as Goat Shed resident and ESC label founder DV-US touches down for a brand new two track EP. The title track goes by the name of 'Realist' and is a certified heater, switching between evil, twisted brass like bass melodies and colourful synthesizers over super skippy drum designs above. On the flip side, '0-800-GO' provides even more weight as we are introducing to lethal reesey textures and yet more super skippy drum progressions. We definitely feel that DV-US is one to keep an eye on as we move forward.

Review: When we look back over both the roster and discography that we have seen the team at PAR assemble over the years, it is very difficult to not be incredibly impressed, with back catalogue boasting arguably one of the strongest selections in UK bass music. We here see them set out on another goliath conquest as they present their ninth birthday release 'PAR IS 9'. This project features a host of exciting guests, from heavyweight veterans such as Garna, DeadbeatUK and Moony, to more new school hard hitters such as S3 Dubs, Daze Prism and more. Highlights for us include Dubzta's grimey sheller 'Side Effect' and the madness of Sekt 87's skippy belter in 'Surge & Rush'.
