Enigma Dubz

Polymath and global DJ, ENiGMA Dubz, is fast becoming one of the most influential producers in modern bass music - flexing from punishing sub-fuelled drops to cinematic electronic soundscapes.

Alongside his own burgeoning imprint, Morii Records, he has released on influential record labels including CRUCAST, Deep, Dark & Dangerous and DUPLOC - and toured the world playing his trademark multi-genre sets - ranging from garage to dubstep and drum & bass, alongside atmospheric breakbeat and electronica.

2023's Mixtape 1: #Heaters, boasted seven collaborations with some of the hottest acts in the global dubstep scene - including MCs PAV4N, Snowy and Nika D. The release saw support from leading tastemakers including UKF, The Dub Rebellion and Deep Tempo - as well as landing on multiple Spotify playlists and tunes being regularly spun by dubstep dons Caspa and Coki.

The #Heaters Tour included some of the biggest bass music festivals in the world, with Excision's Lost Lands, Infrasound Equinox and Sound Haven all stops.

Other hot releases landed in 2023 - with liquid EP Connect being supported by drum & bass royalty London Elektricity, and his Dungeon EP on Truth's Deep, Dark & Dangerous label, including Severed which has become a cult favourite in the dubstep scene - with the material going off on the Dungeon tour across Europe, the UK and US.

This followed 2022’s comeback album Awakening was seen by UKF as "the Birmingham producer’s most diverse and full-flavoured album to date. Flexing from his signature heavyweight dubstep to drum & bass, UKG and all emotional shades and styles in between.”

2024 will see his series take its next step with Mixtape 2: #Vibes, featuring two of the best female vocalists in the bass music game, alongside starting a burgeoning partnership with Nottingham MC Window Kid and CRUCAST.

For ENiGMA Dubz, the Awakening chapter is just beginning.

The roster is incredible, with heavyweight names including Roommate, Pushloop, Roklem, Enigma Dubz and more. There are some incredible tunes throughout, with our favourites including The Widdler's phenomenal dubwise creation in 'Toker, the purple synthesizer slams of 'Cider from Bisweed and of course the breaksy brilliance of Jafu's 'Nuken'.
