Review: The latest release on Chippy Chasers sees fast-rising minimal producers Etro Hahn and Liro go head-to-head. With a focus on organic sounds and references to nature, Green Mood... makes for a distinctive four-tracker. "Subtonick" is redolent of vintage Herbert, with soulful vocal samples wrapped around a loose, rickety groove. Vocals also loom large on "Osrevinu", where hypnotic synths are fused with a narrative about alien invaders. "Nitit" follows an even quirkier route; bugged out brass, honking horns and dissected vocal samples all unravel over a stop-start groove. Going deeper, "Abucerbil" sees the duo deploy more woodwind - this time, a plaintive clarinet haunts the stop-start groove.
