Review: Singapore label Integrity delves deep into their extensive archives to celebrate half a decade in the business. There is no denying that the curation of the label has Detroit themed 'hi-tech soul' strictly in mind, and that's not at all a bad thing. Label boss Eddie Niguel features extensively, with contributions such as the dark future funk of "Visions" and Torontonian legend Greg Gow's emotive reinterpretation of "The Ritual" being just some highlights. Elsewhere, there is no shortage of veteran producers holding up the label's good reputation: Switzerland's Dachshund gets ultra deep on "Must Say", Karim Sahraoui (Transmat) will cast a spell on you with his mesmerising epic "Jazzaj" and Belgium's Fabrice Lig is in impressive form as always on the powerful peak time stomp of "Gazoline".

Review: Belgian hi-tech soul merchant Fabrice Lig returns to Systematic with the rather personal 'Black Monday' EP, where each track is written as a special tribute to dearly departed people who have had a profound impact on Lig's life - and indeed what moving tributes these tracks are. Lig's idiosyncratic take on the Motor City sound is finely displayed on the dancefloor drama of "Jim The Magnificent Fox", as well as the groovy tech-funk action of "Mr Wa". Next up, label boss Marc Romboy channels more classic sounds from the '90s (reminiscent of Stacey Pullen or Derrick Carter) on "Marc's Tribal Dance" while the acidified deep techno epic "Pivert The Playmobil" delivers more emotive and heartfelt sonic artillery.

Review: Some all-Belgian antics here, as new school heroes Raw District join forces with storied techno veteran Fabrice Lig for a peak-time workout on Crosstown Rebels. In its' original form, "Lay Your Weapons Down" is alien and intoxicating, with Just Her's seductive vocal rising above warped electronic bass, unfussy drums, foreboding riffs and, as the track progresses, ecclesiastical organ motifs. Alex Kennon provides a bolder, heavier and more mind-altering interpretation that sits somewhere between driving tech-house and razor-sharp techno. To complete the package, Raw District joins forces with DkA on the hazy and at times densely percussive European tech-house shuffle of "Dans Tres Bras".

Review: Melodymathics label boss Melodymann has pulled off something of a coup here, persuading Bulgarian hero KiNK and Belgian techno stalwart Fabrice Lig to join forces. The fine "Charleroi DC" is available in both "House" and "Techno" mix variants; both make great use of sparkling, Detroit style futurist synth motifs, dreamy pads and fizzing drum machine percussion. The expansive package also includes a trio of remixes from other like-minded producers. Detroit Swindle steps up first with a wonderful late night interpretation that boasts tougher drums, dustier grooves and some fine new musical touches, before Melodymann reinvents the track as a rich, jammed-out deep house roller. Finally, techno survivor Ian O'Brien delivers an impeccable trip into mid '90s tech-house territory that's shot through with classic machine soul.

Review: The Soul Designer is back everyone! Belgian techno legend Fabrice Lig is still at it and boy are we impressed, as always. He never went away really; he just kept doing his thing: Motor City inspired techno-soul of the highest calibre, as displayed on his fabulous last single "No Judgement" (featuring Ann Saunderson) on Planet E. This time he teams up with Midwest legend Titonton Duvante for the Sensual EP. "Even Deeper" is the kind of track that you could imagine Derrick May or Laurent Garnier dropping mid set for one seriously ecstatic moment, with its funky SH 101 bassline (a Lig trademark) and some emotional chords/ keys. "In The Hood" gets a bit more tough and energetic for us with its darkly executed futuristic blues of the funkiest kind.
