Review: Spanish scamps Face & Book return to Elektroshok with two more dramatic breakbeat freak-outs. "Poker" takes the lead with a white hot riff that prods and jabs with a ghetto drama that nods at both the legacy of trap and moombahton. "Casino" continues the gambling theme with an all-in, full-hand slap riff that's so rude it could make Diplo blush. Slinky, slightly mystical and full of promise, Face & Book smash it once again. Place your bets please.
Review: For this one, Spanish duo Face & Book step out onto the Elektroshok imprint for an intense two track selection. The title track 'Dooby Dooby Doo' is a breakbeat paradise, complete with super catchy percussive lead melodies surrounded by crispy drum processing and synthetic madness. On the flip we have a more electro dubstep inspired arrangement in 'YabbadabbaDoo' which pushes together fantastic bass synth design with smooth breaksy rhythms and catchy lead electronic melodies.
Review: For this explosive single, Face & Book team up with the super impressive Elektroshok imprint, bringing together some seriously cool musical themes. As a recording 'Colorado' is a Goliath, leaping between lethal breakbeat textures and killer UK bass sound design, creating a powerful crossover. We are also lucky enough to be blessed with a Brainkiller remix, who sends the original track to the shredder with his classic combo of pleasing reesey distortion, unique melodies and drum style carnage.
