Review: Newcomer Sergio Falomir describes his sound as "Latin, flamenco, tribal, jazz house fusion". Some of those elements are certainly audible on "Too Young To Be Old", a vaguely tribal deep house cut featuring the excellent spoken word vocals of Timothy Octave. There's also a touch of nu-disco about the fluid synth bassline featured on the Dub Edit. "Just The Feeling", again featuring Octave on vocals, sounds like a househead's take on the classic Detroit techno work of Aaron Carl. The sweaty "Backdrop Musicali", meanwhile, lyrically makes the case for genre fusion over a musical backdrop that doffs a cap to garage, techno and thumping European house.
