Review: Russian ragga vibes: skank merchant Feyder lays down a squishy, bounce-happy groove laden with perky organs, rasping snares and blaring sirens with enough space for Steppa Style to melodically extol the virtues of murderation. Deeper into the EP we hit a slightly sharper twist from Jamie Bostron and a gully amen-smashing, old school-minded shake-up of Steppa Style and DJ Vadim's "Sweet Love". Murder, love and rollers... Review: Strictly for heads who like their jungle messy and their breaks smashed into oblivion, Feyder brings ragga screaming into 2014 with a twisted take on his own visions of the junglist scene with a touch of breakcore thrown into the mix. "Unity" heads up the release with sirens blaring but it's not long before the toned-down hip-hop stylings of "Melting Pot" show his true colours - he's messing with you. "Nuh Follow Me" shows his darker side and drags it forward with rapidfire lyrics and fuzzed-up hardcore pads and breaks. "Ganja Man" rounds up the release with bright dancehall touches that, despite initial appearances, stick around coherently much to even Feyder's surprise. It takes a brave man to take on a scene so intensely followed but he's got enough style to pull it off. Keep on his tail, things can only get messier.
