Review: Whenever Circus come to town, it's widely understood to buckle down for a serious thrill ride, with this second edition of their All Stars collection delivering five absolute bombshells, opening up with an explosive return from Doctor P on 'In The Jungle', a warping rampage through blistering synthesiser slaps and skull crushing drum punches, followed by the thumping Rebel Scum rethink of Jessica Audiffred & Mila Falls' rolling epic 'Emergency'. Next, some more old school-inspired flavour as Conrank unloads a system-sizzling display on 'Eat Sleep Skank Repeat', utilising catchy vocal loops and hard hitting melodies, followed by a weighty link up from FuntCase & Jigsy King entitled 'No Get Away', bringing us a party-starting 4x4 epic. Finally, Franky Nuts & Fire Proof join forces for a bone-shaking D&B remix of 'I Won't Die', giving us a euphoric close to this fantastic collection.

Rampage Sampler 03
Barely Alive, Virtual Riot, Phaseone & Myro - "Rampage" - (3:58) 150 BPM Hot
Franky Nuts - "Jump Up" - (3:20) 145 BPM
Bloodline - "Street Gangs" - (4:08) 140 BPM
Lifecycle - "Brain Thrilla" - (3:38) 78 BPM
Review: Well, where do we start with this one. You want heavy dubstep? You have it all right here right now. Rampage Recordings have served us up an absolute feast, kicking off with Lifecycle?s glitchy monster of a riddim entitled "Brain Thrilla". From here we move into a four way collaboration from Barely Alive, Virtual Riot, Phaseone and Myro named "Rampage" and it's an absolute corker. Next up we have the riddim anthem that is "Jump Up" from Leiden's own Franky Nuts. The EP is then finished off perfectly with Bloodline's "Street Gangs" anthem, which works bubbling subs and spooky synths together seamlessly.

Franky Nuts - "Get Hype" (original mix) - (4:11) 140 BPM
Review: Four years and 20 releases deep: Frenk Dublin's Dubstep Rotterdam imprint have never been ones to swamp or saturate the genre. Quality over quantity and forever erring on the deeper, cavernous and more dangerous sides of dubstep, here the label takes a moment to reflect and remind us of their breadth so far... From the purring subs and meditative vapour trails of "The Aggressor" to the all-out jungle badness of Hajee's take on "Demon's Rhythm" by way of DWise's industrial strength concrete melting "Mushrooms", it's a fitting document that not only enforces the label's strength but its timelessness too.

Beats & Pieces Vol 2
Franky Nuts - "Infinite" - (3:24) 150 BPM Hot
Yultron - "If I Only Had The Heart" - (3:40) 82 BPM
CRaymak - "Off This" - (3:02) 150 BPM
Dead Exit - "Soundboy Killer" (VIP) - (3:05) 140 BPM
Orby - "On Point" - (3:55) 150 BPM
Review: Flux Pavilion and Doctor P aren't messing around with Circus this year. Now flanked by a whole new league of exciting talent, while its main protagonists remain as innovative as ever, "Beats & Pieces Vol 2" is the latest premium dispatch: Dutch demon Frankie Nuts adds a little funk to his angular dubstep operations, Yultron switches up the halftime drama with an energy and playfulness that will slay dubstep and D&B floors while CRaymak gets busy on a contemporised 16 Bit style riff dynamic with added piano evangelism. Elsewhere Crissy Criss's Dead Exit revitalised "Soundboy Killer" with added skank VIP fun and up-and-coming Bristol badman Orby fuses Bobby Tank-style rainbow electro musicality with hair-raising bass gulliness. What a package.

Dutch Bass EP - Skank Edition
Le Lion - "Battleship" - (4:08) 140 BPM
Curifex - "Toy Box" - (5:41) 140 BPM
Franky Nuts - "Get Hype" - (4:11) 140 BPM Hot
Review: In truth, the Netherlands has rarely been considered a dubstep hotbed. While the country's electronic music pedigree is impressive - from deep house and techno to trance and instrumental hip-hop - dubstep seems to have largely passed it by. The Dubstep Rotterdam crew wants to change all that. Here, they deliver three solid cuts to attract the heads. Le Lion kicks things off with "Battleship", a pan-fried fusion of sparse, tech-tinged beats and rumbling low-end pressure. Curifex impresses with "Toy Box", a delightful fusion of cascading electronic melodies and classic dubstep percussion. Franky Nuts, meanwhile, brings the skank on his heavy trip into electro-step territory.

Standout moments come from; Tom Cloud with '4 O'Clock In The Morning', the DNB remix of 'Wake Your Mind' from Cosmic Gate, and the massive Beltek 'Go!'
