Review: Having built up a sturdy reputation as Microburst, Chris Sallows has moved away from his more glacial electronica for this selection of nagging productions under the Fuewa moniker. The style has a decidedly dusty finish while the production flair remains at an impressively high level across this lengthy EP for Sonic Router. There are submerged breaks to enjoy on "Gallio" and slow-burning beatless sonics aplenty on "Be More Responsive", while "Inner One" burrows into oddball house grind shot through with an unsettling mysticism. It's a varied and bold release that reveals an intriguing alternative side to a grossly underrated producer.
