Review: Secondnature artists Archivist and Fugal make their debut on BleeD with a stunning four-track release. Veering in sound and intensity, the US producers start at the peak time end of the spectrum with ""Being & Nothingness". Based on a tight, stepping rhythm, crisp claps and morse code tonal sequences, it sounds like early Sleeparchive jamming with Hessle Audio. "Far Horizon" is more textured and based on a straighter rhythm, as the pair drop a dense, dubbed out groove. "Undertow" is more groovy and sounds like an electronic disco groove fashioned amid the granite hard rigidity of techno, while on a deeper note, the label has commissioned Acronym from Northern Electronics to deliver an atmospheric techno take on "Far Horizon".
