Amsterdam based DJ/producer
G-Double-E has been promoting the UK garage sound in The Netherlands from day one. In two decades, he’s invited all major players from the UK garage scene and has gained respect and everlasting friendships. He represents a genuine unique sound for the Dutch dance scene with a major cross-over to the UK market. It’s no coincidence that he worked with respected artists like MJ Cole, Majestic, Eddie Craig, Grant Nelson, Matt Jam Lamont, The Artful Dodger to just name a view.
He’s been resident dj for respected events like Speedfreax, Valtifest, The Reunion and Wasteland, but also played many festivals himself. In the UK he even got to play sets in Fabric and Eastern Electrics festival.
His first track of 2023 will be released on Matt Jam Lamont’s & Scott Diaz record label Undagrnd Freqz.
Review: Garage Shared have for a long time now been one of the most innovative and artist-centric platforms in the garage space, with this Around The World In UKG series being one of the best examples of that on display. Welcoming an artist listing on a global scale, the team are able to do an awesome job of showcasing garage as an international sound, from the metallic bass plucks of Gemcamps 'Push Me Dub' to the more euphoric chord structures of 'Morning' from Phoebos and outright abstraction of Feline Teck's 'Remember Bby'. The collection works perfectly together, with our standout being the super smooth production tech of Taf's 'Midnight'.
