Review: Whenever we see a new Dank N Dirty Dubz release land in the store, we are always filled with both excitement and anticipation, never really knowing what to expect. This latest batch from MediCated & Gdash is a special selection indeed, focussing on the more dubwise side of the dubstep sound, kicking off with 'Natural Law', which alongside the wicked vocals of Fikir Amlak, delivers a certified system roller for all to enjoy, complete with the instrumental riddim to match. Next, Fikir Amlak continues his involvement with another catchy lead vocal on the stomping drum marches of 'Worser Than Obeah', before Rider Shafique delivers a typically exceptional verse or two on 'Jah Bless'. The 'Metro' riddim then supplies us with the instrumental fire from the previous two vocals, before Awa Fall unleashes a fantastic vocal display on the nostalgic arrangements and wicked melodies of 'Wicked Heart Man / Roots & Culture', before 'Dubwise' unleashes the above in instrumental format. What a release!
