Review: They say you can't keep a good tune down and 'Love The One You're With' is certainly a case in point: originally written by Stephen Stills (of Crosby, Stills & Nash fame), it's been covered by everyone from The Meters and The Isley Brothers to hoary old rocker Bob Nugent and 80s saccharine popsters Bucks Fizz. In 1988, original Canadian disco don Gino Soccio had a go, his rendition sitting, stylistically, somewhere between mid-80s boogie and Jam & Lewis's work with Janet Jackson... and now, 35 years on, it gets a second run-out courtesy of Unidisc, with original, extended and acapella mixes to choose from.be
