Review: Batten down the hatches, Golpe is back with a hard techno release that takes no prisoners. The title track unfolds at a high tempo. Powered by a soaring, brooding bass and intense metallic drums, these elements unravel over a relentless rhythm. On "High Point", Golpe ramps up the intensity levels. Powered by incessant hi hats and a pounding groove, he adds in chopped up vocal samples. It lends some clue that there is a human responsible for the resultant peak-time banger. Unsurprisingly, "Rave Me Hard" isn't for the faint-hearted either. Based on a galloping rhythm, it sees Golpe pepper the arrangement with a repetitive siren riff and deadly effective builds and drops.
Review: Golpe delivers three hard-hitting techno tracks designed for peak-time use. The title track resounds to pummelling kicks and sheet metal percussion. These elements come together to provide a backdrop for coruscating riffs and propulsive snare rolls. "Shinbiraha" isn't as frenetic, but it still packs a mighty punch thanks to the combination of a growling bass and searing, recycled rave riffs. However, the release's highlight is "Fall Asleep In Berlin". The arrangement is powered by a rolling, juggernaut rhythm and drums so heavy that they could have been fashioned from lead - the addition of a buzzsaw riff and eerie riffs add to its intensity.
