Fanta Tribal (original mix) - (7:51) 125 BPM
Review: Pumping and deep techy techno heat with that sultry style from The Guy Downstairs featuring a collaboration with David Gtronic on the lead track yo! With the release also packing two Reboot remixes, The Guy gets down woth some classic Daniel Steinberg-isms in his percussion style on numbers like "After Me". Boosting it further is a straighter-laced groove in "Micdejunaun" and that slamming "Fanta Tribal" closer - check those bleeps. No explanations needed.

Review: Phil Weeks is without a doubt one the busiest people in the business, with a relentless release schedule on Robsoul that manages consistency, unleashing grooves of the funkiest, bumpiest and loopy variety, week in week out. It's time for another volume of Robsoul's Most Wanted, Vol 6 to be exact and it's an all-star affair as per usual! Highlights for us this time around weren't limited to: label mainstay Around 7 with the funky lo-slung groove that's fittingly titled "Word Of Low", Romanian wunderkind and rising star Guy From Downstairs with the thumping yet emotive soul jam "The Mesteacan", The Bosconi affiliated Minimono on the disco loops of "Buddy Now Buddy" and man of the moment Tommy Vicari Jnr with more quality as displayed on the simply uplifting "Pasci".

Review: Bucharest's The Guy From Downstairs doesn't pursue the usual hypno-minimalist stylings of his fellow countrymen, he keeps it pretty normal but rest assured it's really good. Certainly vibrant as demonstrated on his debut the La Di Da Di EP for Phil Weeks' Robsoul. Starting out with the funky disco loops of "Chuuch" he really sets the tone quite well for the rest of the EP to follow. "Insir Rope" gets some rolling funk groove happening and still utilising those infectious latin loops so damn well. "The Mesteacan" features one razor sharp arpeggio that carries this smooth and soulful track and is perfect for those cool down moments. But if "Bogart's Groove" is his nickname for a boompty groove, we're down with that in a way that Derrick Carter or Mark Farina would too.
