Review: Philippe Lechat has been releasing an array of experimental sounds for Entropy since 2010, but the last time we heard from him as Inner Signal was in 2010. For fans of the Kranky label's more ambient leaning music and Mika Vainio's pulsing sine waves, Industrial Utopia will push all the right buttons. Although most tracks here don't exceed much more than five minutes, they could all essentially go on forever, which is fine considering there's more gloomy textures than clashing percussion. For a long, dark trip down the ambient industrial wormhole, let Inner Signal be your guiding light.
