First (Fork & Knife remix) - (4:09) 140 BPM
Review: As always with In:flux Audio, it appears we have stumbled across a bit of a gem as J Kong lands for a spicy new EP project, alongside a couple of very well thought out remix additions. We begin with 'First', a dubsteppers delight, as we witness a swampy creation stuffed full of luscious sub-driven energy and crunchy drums, before 'Second' unleashes a much more wonky design, again going heavy on LFO manoeuvres throughout. On remix duty we have two great producers giving their thoughts on 'First', with Aztec arriving to flip the track into a systemized warbler, alongside Fork & Knife's LFO bubbler of an overhaul. Wicked work as per!

Dutch (9TRANE remix) - (4:38) 140 BPM
Poncho (Tik&Borrow remix) - (4:34) 140 BPM
Review: We can safely say that In:flux will be leaving 2019 as one if it's standout labels, having constantly supplied a stream of forward thinking music from bass to garage to dubstep and grime. The 140 vibes continue on this one as J Kong lands to potent original designs, kicking off with the warbling sub tones of 'Dutch', which sit below twisted percussion clicks and unpredictable rhythmic structures. Following this 'Poncho' provides a spooky stepper, driven by sharp drum slaps and thick sub tones. On remix duty, 9TRANE lines up a killer rethink of 'Dutch', whilst label top dogs: Tik&Borrow unleash some lethal synthesis in their version of 'Poncho'.

Review: After a very lucrative last twelve months for the In:Flux Audio camp, we are pleased to see them start to round out the year in style as they present us with this collection from J Kong. We begin with the title track 'Nonsense', an out-there amalgamation of dubstep and breaks, pushing unpredictable drum cuts with warbling bass tones and vocal hits. Next up we have the punchy bass grinds of 'Ruthless', which follows by example, being lashed with original sound design. On remix Duty, J69 and Inner Realm get busy on their intuitive recreations of 'Nonsense', with Dr Oscillator following up in style with his weighty rethink of 'Ruthless'.

Review: As one of the most popular newcomers to the thriving UK Bass scene, J Kong is keen to impress with his brand new 'Venom' EP in association with SubSound. The EP begins on a serious high with the title track 'Venom' giving us some vibrant and interesting drum designs amidst expansive LFO's and spicy vocal stabs. Following this 'Steppa' provides some additional bassline flavour, before jumping into some excellent remixes. Hestia steps up first with his crunchy neuro rework of 'Venom' before Khong sends 'Steppa' to the techno blender. Demloxx & NACS1 then finish up the EP with their grimey reimagining of 'Steppa', rounding off an impressive overall project
