Review: One of the key artists within Above & Beyonds Anjuna family makes an appearance on the main label once again with two tracks of feel good chunkiness. Whether it's on his trademark deeper vibe or the upbeat electro edged fusion on show here, Australia's Jaytech has a knack for writing melodies that instantly stick in the mind. 'Inception' is a cracker, with a soaring retro synth you'll instantly fall in love with. He contrasts on the flip, with a darker vibe on 'Wipeout' that is built around some lovely piano melodies and cool disco influences shimmering through. Both of these need to be in the set list over the coming weeks, as they have been with the likes of Armin and A&B.
Review: Above & Beyond's Anjunabeat label look back to Jaytech's artist for a well deserved single release of title track 'Multiverse', and bring with it two new mixes. A regular name on the Deep imprint, Jaytechs own Club mix is warm, nass heavy and pumping. Both the fresh cuts head down a proggy route with American producer Audien packing a mean groove that rocks it's way to a pretty epic breakdown, while debutant Mimax brings a completely different take for his mix, in a style that has whet our appetite for whats to come from him next year.
Review: Over the past couple of years Australia's Jaytech has become Synonymous with the Anjunadeep label, perfectly representing their trademark effortless blend of house, trance, and progressive. He jumps straight back in after 'Overdrive' and 'New Vibe' with another wicked double header of forward thinking prog. 'Synergy' is the club killer of the two, with a uniquely funky edge and playful pianos, while in contrast 'Atlantic' floats with more of a melodic groove, being one of above & Beyond's secret weapons this year.
