Review: During the day, JBAG duo Jerry Bouthier and Andrea Gorgerino curate and produce soundtracks for high end fashion shows. By night, they create their own energetic, multicoloured take on nu-disco. "Mogadisco", their second single, rises and falls in all the right places, building the action around huge, chiming riffs, kaleidoscopic vocal samples and driving beats. The remix package offers some audible treats, too. Fare Solidi adds a rubbery electric bassline and some classic clavs, whilst retaining the big riffs and driving beats. Pharoa Black Magic go off on a fluid indie disco tip - very Kitsune - while ELIOT throws some near tropical synths into the mix on his joyous interpretation.
