Review: It's time to jump into yet another top quality compilation project, curated by the combined sounds of both Jonnypluse and JPSTOL, two sounds that are really carving out a niche for themselves in a crowded breakbeat marketplace. This full tracklisting offers up seven original smashers from Jonny, along with a Cut & Paste version of 'Funky Time', with JPSTOL supplying two original creations for good measure. There are a few clear standouts with MC Coppa's vocal assistance on 'Never Get Old' being one of them, along with the high energy, shuffling breaks and bubbling bass tones of 'Drop This In The Middle'.

Review: For this latest edition of future ska selections, we are pleased to see Jonnypluse, Distro Punks, Mo Matik and JPstol team up for 'Dub Skank Riddims', which comes flying onto our shelves courtesy of the Distro Punks imprint. As far as the tracks go, the harmonic structures and uplifting vocal hooks of 'Never Get Old Skank' put an instant smile on your face, along with electronic ska hybrid 'Loud People' and the percussive perusings of 'The Incredible Riddim'. For us, the clear highlights for this project have to include '135 Rinka (Ska version)', an unusual slice of dubwise goodness, dipping between breakbeat structures and more traditional rhythmic grooves, along with JPistol's pleasing 'APe Panic Riddim'. Tasty stuff.

Review: Distro Punks make their return here alongside Johnnypluse, who released a string of well received projects across the breadth of 2018. This brand new project contains thirteen tracks of futuristic electronic goodness, from the stuttered moogy tones of 'We Need More Lasers' and unpredictable sample-based madness of 'Blind Tap-Dancer' to the sharp drum grooves of 'Rebel Funk' and layered melodies of 'Pull The Chord'. There is truly something for all breakbeat lovers amongst this body of work, yet again solidifying Johnnypluse as one of the most creative sample based producers in the scene today.

Review: We are delighted to present to you the official reissue of JOHNNYPLUSE's breakbeat anthology "The Book Of Lies". As a project this encapsulates everything excited about modern breakbeat music with it's high energy, unrelenting drum arrangements, pounding bass notation and thrilling vocal performances. The collaborations bring this project to life, especially MC Mimmic's old school flows over "The Episode" and Bass Nacho's additional credits on "Back To The Future". Other highlights include the more stripped back arrangements of "Never Get Old Riddim" and "No Gee Just Mpc" which add a whole additional layer of depth to the overall project.
