Review: Spanish DJ Jorge Montia hooks up with the former big beat label for an excellent house release. Montia's strength lies in his ability to apply toolish rhythms to musical scenarios. The title track is a perfect example: over a rolling rhythm and propulsive snares rolls, he delivers dizzying saxophone solos and infectious trumpet riffs. "Impacto" is even more impressive. Chords swell and churn while a fat funk bassline plays out over Montia's jacking rhythms. The remix of "My Feelings" follows a similar path, with Sonny Wharton dropping dark chord stabs and insistent disco loops over a rolling, DJ-friendly rhythm track.
