Review: Few house flavours can guarantee sprightly sexy dancing as safely as 1920s swing flavour. Take this EP from Michigan muso Juwan; picking out the plinky plonk riddim and adding a lolloping bass groove and shuffling Chi-beats, it's more than reminiscent of Derrick Carter's early material. If you're looking for something a little beefier then head for J Caprice's remix where he'd added a dash of tech sensibility and clear sample mashery. "Where We To" is another horn-blaster, but in this instance Juwan builds it up a lot slower, allowing the classic warehouse style jack do the talking before the real hook swoons its way in. Instant party.
