Review: Gritty tech house doesn't get any grimier than this. This is their first ever digital-only release and takes the step into futuristic methods in a grand style. The original version of "What Happened To Nancy?" is an epic and emotional tech-house joint based on driving beats that just won't quit, however C-Rock's interpretation is far more abrupt, channelling techno cool and acid highs for an addictive, if unsettling result. Rework adds bouncy bass and an arch vocal loop to build a progressive behemoth of a tune from the ashes of the original. Finally, Philipp Lichblau and Patrick Testor bring Balearic suaveness into the equation, with calm, collected beats and relentless, snake-hipped rhythm.
