Review: Since launching in 2010, Mario Castillo's Soul Notes label has provided listeners with some real deep house treats. Here, they're at it again, delivering a quartet of robust, deep, floor-friendly bumpers from a range of label regulars. Choose between Crue's jacking acid bumper "VCO Mfkr", the jazzy, '90s US house bump of Kasper's "Deeper Love", the hands-in-the-air warmth of Adryiano's jaunty "On My Side", and the super-deep chords, tumbling grooves and dreamy late night vocal samples of Krill Tipo's "Free Falling" (our pick). All four are resolutely playable and excellent in their own right.
