Review: It's a First World Problem, but pity the poor reviewer who has to find something new to say about a Music For Dreams compilation: with Bager's label now in the game for well over 20 years, and with the 'Music For Mindfulness' series itself reaching its seventh instalment, you really should know what you're getting by now! Still, it's a formula that works - clearly, or they wouldn't be into their third decade - and if you're a fan of the label's mix of ambient, Balearic and downtempo vibes then 'Music For Mindfulness Vol 7' should more than satisfy, with some of the more notable tracks including the fragile beauty of Valentin Huedo's 'Wonderful Piano', Hess Is More's haunting, indie/psych-tinged 'You & Me & Them' and Willie Graff & Darren Eboli's dubby 'Pink Hotel'.

Review: Music for dreams, memory or the rainforest lounge, the Danish label are the ones to finally wrangle Kenneth Bager for 'the' official reissue of Let's Dream Together. Originally put out in 1989, and dug up out of obscurity by Young Marco and the Redlight Records crew to popular appeal in 2013, The New Age Orchestra sees a new light of day. Said to be deeply inspired by Manuel Gottsching, this record is full of classic Bager sax-action, new age piano keys, Korg MS-20 moon landings and watery field recordings.
