Kid Sister has been quiet since her long awaited debut album Ultraviolet arrived in 2009, but now she returns with Kiss & Tell, which serves as a taster of her next long player, with a raft of producers helping . "Mickey" announces her return with a bang, with her trademark flow fused with Nadastrom's rave sirens, lasers and synth stabs, whilst "Hide & Seek" is a sleazier hip-hop number with Sinden and 5kin&Bone5 on production duties. "Cliq Claq" meanwhile is brought to life by hip-hop legend Scoop Deville, whose minimal percussive rhythms add a deceptive amount of depth to the track. The undoubted highlight however is the Miami bass influenced "Gucci Rag Top", which combines a booty shaking bassline with scratch samples and sharp snares. Of course it's Kid Sister's unique personality and style that really shines through on this EP, a fine taster of what looks set to be a great second album.
