Review: DJ Hybrid's Audio Addict look back over another diverse and exciting year with this excellent 'Reloaded' VA that cherry picks 25 of the many highs throughout 2022. All flavours, all styles, all energies, expect the full spectrum here from Ozone's alien squelching 'OG' to menacing, minimal finger clickers like Jam Thieves' 'Outbreak' to dreamier, emotional switch flippers like Klimate's 'Through My Eyes'. Riddled with pristine bangers from the likes of Vital, Prestige, Posk, Joely, Exile and many more, this is a great snapshot of a very successful year for DJ Hybrid's label.

Review: Following appearances on Invicta, POV Audio and Classified already this year, 'Mr Cowboy' isn't Klimate's first rodeo... But it might just be his largest. Five tracks, courtesy of Audio Addict, the vibes are fine tuned, stripped-back and loaded with great samples. Every track is a highlight but the sweet honeyed vocals on the bittersweet 'Through My Eyes' really do soothe the soul while 'Malfunction' brings on the grizzle factor in a really tasteful and breathy way. Check plays the consummate finale with its insistent vocal stab and wobbly-assed bassline. Ride 'em cowfolk!

Review: Manchester label Hydrated Audio hook up with Akimbo to bring in a cross pollination of artists across eight diabolical numbers. Get some new-school pop vocals and electro chiptune out of Error's "Closer" next to some middle eastern percussion and dipping synths in BIG SIRS Arabian Nights. Jackhammer distortion in FRAXION's "On My Back" hits the spot, while KLIMATE's "Winner" introduces some ragga-jungle vibes in tandem with the liquid rhythms, tear out bass sequences and deep textures of B-Plexx's "Death Wish". Stand out bass drops on this compilation come from Begone's "Favour" (tip) alongside the more urban flavours of Sanity's "Dissociation" and a flurry of explosive sound in GEO's "Ominious".
