Review: Sebastian Krenzlin debuts on Konekt with a fine purist techno EP. "Blending Mind" is a looped track that resounds to swirling chords. On "No Return", he goes deeper, but keeps his focus on the dance floor. Powered by dense kicks, it features insistent stabs and rickety percussion. "Potential Loop" follows in a similar vein. On this occasion, the rhythm has a steely robustness to it, with Krenzlin layering in brooding chords. "Second Skin" is a more hyperactive track; built around a jittery high-tempo groove, synth loops appear throughout the arrangement, adding to the heightened sense of drama. "Sync Lock" takes the pace down a few notches, but the intensity is still there, thanks to the intense synth swirls.
