Review: Self-professed 'lil yuns' Krimslo come through with a debut release of dark bass rollers for Thomas White and Dear Lola's RAW label. Affiliated with both the Club Interieur and Tomahawk Chop Squad collectives, the brotherly Atlanta pair make their formal RAW debut after remixing CUFT last year and the New Balance EP is a fine display of their rowdy talents. Finding the middle ground between East Coast club music and instrumental grime, Krimslo dip through tempos with a beguiling rudeness across the four original tracks and demonstrated an understanding of rhythmic dynamism and bass sound design that is crucial in the club. Fellow Atlanta producer Letres2K pops up to deliver a hyperactive take on "Glide Conquest" as a finale.
