Instigator / Guilt Trip
Instigator - (5:01) 140 BPM Hot
Guilt Trip - (4:41) 140 BPM
Review: With Boka's legendary status already very much secured across the dubstep and 140 spectrum, it's safe to say that a fellow legendary figure such as Kromestar stopping by is only going to amplify that status further. This latest two-tracker therefore is stuff full of goodies, opening up with the moody sub pulses and cinematic string textures of 'Instigator', that through its advanced musicality and distant piano chords, gives us a truly emotive introduction. On the flip to this, 'Guilt Trip' employs a much more breaks-infused angle, focussing primarily on shimmering synth patterns and vocal reverberations for a wonderful sonic experience.

The Progress, Pt. 2 (Dune)
The Progress (Pt. 2 (Dune)) - (4:08) 85 BPM
The Progress (original mix) - (3:28) 85 BPM Hot
Review: There is no denying that Kromestar is one of the UK's most legendary production talents, having been present across numerous different eras of electronic music, always pushing the boundaries further than anyone around him. This time around, he returns to his home at Nebula Music for a fiery two-track slam down. Up first, we explore part 2 of 'The Progress', which taking the bracketed title 'Dune', gives us a frankly masterful slink through gritty reese bass textures. This is then followed by the original mix, which again, blows our socks off, focussing on more mind-melting synth work to push the boundaries even further.

Nu Era Dub VIP
Nu Era Dub (VIP) - (4:47) 140 BPM
Who Dat Jazz (original mix) - (4:34) 140 BPM Hot
Review: What do you expect to see when two true legends of a genre combine? Whatever the expectations are, there is no denying that this latest two tracker from both Kromestar & N-Type has exceeded them, exploiting two stunning creations to say the very least. We begin with the incredibly emotive melodic sweeps and siren-like synth leads of 'Nu Era Dub (VIP)', a truly gorgeous arrangement which combines the best of both artists in a fusion-driven masterclass. Next, 'Who Dat Jazz' arrives on the flip, again utilising subtle vocal stabs and charming key slides to give us a perfect b-side backup. Both of these stand tall in their own right, but combined, become even more special. Hats off!
