Forbidden Treasure - (3:42) 105 BPM Biggest-selling track on this release
Spirits - (3:56) 152 BPM
Loops Of Prime - (3:44) 110 BPM
Review: Lack Jemmon steps out of Breakbeat Paradise and lands firmly on the Bomb Strikes with, ironically, a three-pack of utter bombs for the dancefloor! The breaks and electro blender kicks off with the grizzly bass of "Forbidden Pleasure", recalling the dirtier side of bro-step, and that's followed by the even gnarlier sub-tones of the bubbling "Spirits". "Loops Of Prime" heads out into the ether, coming through with all sorts of spaced-out bass flavours from the deepest, darkest corners of the sci-fi kingdom. Bangers.

Whos Serious - (3:41) 110 BPM
The Party Riddim - (3:42) 125 BPM Biggest-selling track on this release
Would You?! - (5:49) 125 BPM
Review: Breakbeat Paradise have been on a serious spree of late, dropping regular releases with major quality behind them. This trend continues as they put together this self titled project from Lack Jemmon, consisting of four heaters. We begin with the catchy piano slices and vocal pinches of 'Who's Serious', before landing on the super breaksy drum lines of 'The Party Riddim'. Next up, 'Would You?!', with some more catchy vocal work and groovy rhythms before we finish up the project with a super electro rework entitled 'Olly's Heartbeat'. As a project, this one boasts some serious creativity, excellent work!

Don't Stop - (3:44) 105 BPM
I'm A Boss - (4:18) 153 BPM Biggest-selling track on this release
Review: Bomb Strikes are back at it again with more explosive behaviour here as they continue their thoroughly enjoyable run of releases, welcoming two original smashes from Lack Jemmon. We kick off our look into this release with 'Don't Stop', which takes its place as title track for a reason as we are engulfed in a wash of sumptuous eastern melodic plucks and big room drum snaps, giving us a worldly level of production. On the flip side we take in 'I'm A Boss', another eastern inspired piece when it comes to melodic structure, this time using tooting saxophone lines over blippy drum expressions and well placed vocal samples to round the project off with a bang.

Review: Skimming the purist, fullest fat cream from the nu-funk crop, Scour's behaviour at the forefront of the party-minded movement is nothing short of commendable. Their most extensive compendium to date, vibes range of the Little Walter-sampling "Ain't No Coolin" to the filtered jazz funk chops and slaps of "The Program". Between these two disparate-yet-wholly-consistent flavours you'll find subverted swing (Father Funk & Howla's "Got Swing?"), stark Jackson Five string struts ("Soul Rocka") and classic rap ("Two For The Crates"). Whipped and unashamedly fresh, Scour really are the cream of the crop right now.

Review: Bomb Strikes continue their quite frankly untouchable run with this latest release as they unveil the fourth edition of their 'Bass Funk' compilation series, showcasing some of the most forward thinking bass music about right now. As a compilation, it covers a lot of ground, from the tearout D&B stylings of Featurecast's 'Trigger Finger', to the futuristic post dubstep designs of 'Flexx' from Stylust. Other highlights for us include Kenny Beeper with his groove-infused scratch masterpiece 'Crown Jewels', the long awaited 'Back To The Flow VIP' from Krafty Kuts and of course, Champion's high profile appearance alongside the unmistakable vocal presence of Dread MC on 'One Time'.
