Review: Australian producer Lance 'Lancelot' Gurisik had something of an impressive debut year in 2014, releasing a trio of acclaimed deep house singles on Anjunabeat. Here, he transfers to W&O Street Tracks with more atmospheric, evocative, late night fare. He begins with the title track, a dreamy and hugely enjoyable blend of drifting chords, tactile synth-bass and loose, cymbal-heavy percussion that benefits greatly from an extended breakdown. Things get a little livelier on "Everything On Its Way Down" - think hissing percussion, darting melodies and smooth powder house bottom-end - while the sun-kissed "Closer" achieves a near perfect balance between bass-heavy dancefloor hedonism and crystal clear melodic fluidity.
