Review: It's safe to say that the Numa Recordings catalogue is a pretty spectacular thing to take a peek at, which has been added to by this fabulous new collection as they unveil the second edition of their 'Heartless Badboys' EP Series. We begin our four track journey with Lapo, who delivers a synth-heavy party starter in 'Automatic Soul', a crunchy number that finds itself switching perfectly between electronic leads and dubwise delays. Next, Leon P is joined by Ago for a piece of breaksy brilliance on 'Juju', followed by a serious upswing in tempo as T-Kay delivers some metallic mastery on 'Monarch'. Finally, things get a little techy as XL Mad unleashes 'Death Valley', a crunchy tech-inspired roller, giving us an excellent final touch.

Review: As ever with Moonshine Recordings, they have delivered us a seriously top notch selection as they unveil sixteen tracks of sweet reggae bliss. We have one of a line up on the table as we see names such as G Roots, Frenk Dublin, Blind Prophet, Adam Prescott and more throw us contributions as rootsy flavours are given a 2019 face lift. There are some clear standouts from this work, despite all sixteen tracks being absolute show stoppers, including 6Blocc & General Jah Mikey's system-ready stomper 'Too Rude' and the euphoric horn manoeuvres of 'Enchanted Dub' from Halcyonic, G Roots, Digid & Vale. The whole project is excellent, and we are super stoked to have it available here at Juno Download.

Review: The team at Numa Recordings have assembled one hell of a selection here as we see them introduce four fantastic originals as part of this brand new 'Heartless Badboys' EP project. Firstly we see the well renowned Numa Crew get busy alongside the super catchy vocals of XL Mad on 'Broka', before we jump into the super smooth yet grimey flavours of Hypergrade's 'Cabala'. Next on the menu, we tuck into what we presume is the title track as 'Heartless Badboys' ushers forth with a tonne of half-time synthetic energy, courtesy of Ago & T.Kay. We then finish up with the old school junglist twists and turns of 'Old Ravers' from Lapo, wrapping up a very clever four track piece.

Review: Ninja Crew members Lapo and T.Kay join forces on this three-track blast of revivalist jungle goodness for Erba. Their formula - snappy old skool jungle riddims, good, old-fashioned reggae samples and booming, bowel-bothering basslines - is as familiar as a favourite old jumper, but it never fails to deliver smile-inducing goodtime grooves. "Princess" sets the tone, pleasingly getting its skank on before dropping into blistering grooves and pulsating sub. T.Kay's "Treatment Yard" is similarly inclined but just a little tighter, working the breaks around head-nodding reggae horn stabs. Best of all, though, is Lapo's "Freedom Dub", a pleasingly dubwise chunk of dub step that's a lot more dub than step, if you get our drift.
