Review: Riva Starr's Snatch! celebrate 10 years in the game in 2020, and this collection rounds up the best of their output over the latter half of that first decade. Tuff, chuggy tech-house is, unsurprisingly, the dominant sound here, but it's by no means all that's on offer - Rogue D flirts with 80s boogie on 'Take It Easy', for instance, while Soul Speech loops up Heatwave's 'Boogie Nights' on 'Soul Speech'. With tracks from the heavy-hitting likes of Max Chapman, Darius Syrossian, Steve Bug, Groove Armada, Wade and Denis Cruz, and cheeky reworks of classics like 'My Beat' and 'Pride (A Deeper Love)', there's useful ammunition here for house jocks of many different micro-persuasions.

Review: Gabriel "Lele" Sacchi joined Rebirth last year, following an impressive 2016 solo debut on Prins Thomas's Internasjonal imprint. Surprisingly, this is the producer's first single for 12 months. "Dreaming Won't Do" is impressively positive and colourful, with Chic style disco guitar stabs and dreamy vocal samples from a classic disco-boogie cut rising attractively above an Italo disco-inspired groove. Tiger and Woods reach for the pianos on their fantastic peak-time house rework, before former Visionquest twosome Benoit & Sergio re-cast the track as a strobe-friendly chunk of Moroder-inspired Euro-disco brilliance that will have dancers reaching for the lasers in no time at all.

Review: Given the fact that his first collaborative released dropped on 20:20 Vision way back in 2005, it's a surprise to find that Kosmiquest marks Gabriele 'Lele' Sacchi's full solo debut. Happily, the Milanese producer is in fine form, delivering an attractive blend of rubbery, synth-heavy bottom end, loose grooves, rough-cut disco touches and Kosmiche influences for Prins Thomas' long running International Feel label. The latter provides a typically epic and eccentric remix, adding a touch of acid and other psychedelic flourishes on a version that's notably Balearic in feel. The package's other rework comes from Philip Lauer, whose glassy-eyed, sunset deep house revision makes great use of bubbling acid bass, sweeping chords and tactile melodies.
