Review: Coming through with his second bullet of 2016, dubstep cat Lenkemz bursts through our charts with his usual oddity and aggression, a mixture of characteristics which is often met with fear by regular, everyday citizens. But, what this producer does on his tracks is also hugely exciting, and just that little bit terrifying; let's not even get into the intro, because that's a different argument altogether, but "Soup" wastes no time in getting its point across with a stepping, broken rhythm and some truly cavernous sonics, whereas "Oh No Oh No" resembles something of a hip-hop hybrid, the evil spawn of an MPC jam gone wrong, and "Tree Daze" offers a completely different sort of sonic formula that sounds like nothing we've hear from Lenkemz before. Last but certainly not least, "All Of Them Had Teeth" offers a bizarre, molecular arrangement that somehow manages to stay in place and travel across ix minutes of pure leftfield oddity.

Review: 10 years of US/UK grime feedback: Slit Jockey celebrate a decade of dirt with this extensive collection of classics, currents and previously unheard cuts. There might be 10 years between some of the tracks but you'd never tell; such is the solid signature and high quality control of the label. Every track is a highlight but cuts like Lenkemz savage club shredder "Can't See U", Blak Twang & Conrank's midnight murker "Go Getter" and Mr Mitch's eerie moon-bouncing trapisms are essential staples for any grime and bass connoisseur's collection. Here's to another 10 years.

Review: Label regular Killjoy teams up with Lenkemz for a new track and selection of remixes on the incorrigible Tumble Audio. The original mix of "Wesley Snipes" features the grimey vocal talent Slick Don on the mic, and you also get an instrumental to tool up into your DJ set. Majora steps up for a funky house remix compete with gargling bassline and a whole artillery of choppy percussion shots, whereas Spooky goes in with some killer half-step vibes reminiscent of something on Deep Medi or played by Mala or Coki, for that matter. Check it - essential doesn't even cover it.

Review: Make no mistakes, "Can't See U" features some of Slick Don's finest lyrics to date. Myriad disses without any misses, they're the perfect mic-fire for Lenkemz's dark, spiked out riddim. "Polo Tee", meanwhile, opts for a deeper, 808-influenced groove as P Solja tells a tale of smoking and sexy time with clarity and naughtiness. Finally we hit "Came Here 2 Beat", a jacking four-to-the-floor garage jam that pumps and jumps with raw bass heaviness. Filthy.
