Accompanying the original mix of LNRipley - "Trap" are no less than six remixes on show here. A cacophony of high-octane beats, grime lyrics, swaggering urban furore and dubstep-inspired bass power, the original is a tough cookie to crack. Maurs twists it up with screeching, high-pitched synth manipulations, whilst Epitome adds a dash of old Skream with bass bubbles and emphasis on the vocals. Maztek spices it up with a dash of dancefloor, before Kombot strips back the breakdowns and then tears it apart with lashing, metallic snares. Inward takes inspiration from Doctor P and Noisia with his brutal re-interpretation and finally Scapo soothes our ears with a funkier, shuffling 4/4 vocal-driven version.
