Review: It is now over to hot Berlin DJ/blogger duo Local Suicide on San Francisco's Roam Recordings, following up some great releases by electro punks Aimes, John Parsley and Zombies In Miami. Teaming up with Mexico City's Alex Sander aka Mijo on the boompty late night sleaze of "Edo Kai Tora" which gets a majorly brooding remix up next by Berlin veteran Sascha Funke. Next up "Ganz Falsch" is a properly neon-lit nu-disco jam, that's bound to get you boogying right into the stratosphere. It too receives a rework: it's over to Moscow's Simple Symmetry of Multi Culti and Correspondant fame, who gets into some rowdy punk-funk antics in the vein of Red Axes or Autarkic.

Review: Theus Mago is Mexican producer Mateo Gonzalez who has appered on esteemed labels like Kitsune, Discotexas and Turbo Recordings. Here he teams up with Berlin-based DJs and real-life couple Max Brudi (Munich) and Vamparela (Thessaloniki) aka Local Suicide (My Favorite Robot Records/Multi Culti/Roam) on his own co-run Duro label. "Komm Ins Loch" is a woozy and slow burning vocal-led number that joins the dots between EBM techno and nu-disco. The first remix comes from Aera (Permanent Vacation/Innervisions) whose version is respectful enough that it doesn't deviate too much from the original - just injects more dancefloor dynamic. Next up, Colossio (Calypso Records) sees the fellow Mexican go for that Multi Culti/Hippie Dance style indie-dance groove

Review: Let's jump on the trans-European disco duo express now, as the French pairing of Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco, AKA Two Man, join forces with Vienna-based indie/disco twosome Wiener Planquadrat and Berlin-based electro double act Local Suicide. 'Temple Of Bloom' in its Original form is a darkly quirky affair with brooding beats, insistent drill-like bass stabs and a touch of breakbeat around the edges, all topped off with a treated vocal sample from Barbara Mason's West End classic 'Another Man'. The latter then comes further to the fore on Local Suicide & Wiener Planquadrat's sleazily throbbing remix, which is probably the better bet for dancefloor play.

Review: Iptamenos Discos presents "In Space We Roam" - a collaboration by label heads Local Suicide and Skelesys. Four tracks here offer two original tunes and two remixes by Psycho Weazel and Neu-Romancer respectively. The title track, "In Space We Roam", hits with rolling basslines and mystical vocals, taking listeners on a galactic journey with glitchy space-pop sounds and ethereal synth-lines, while its opposite "Surface of the Sun" amps up the energy with some forceful bass, deep vocals, and grooving melodies that deliver a hypnotic and sultry experience. Opening up to Psycho Weazel, the rare act delivers a darkly beautiful rendition of "In Space We Roam" allowing for Neu-Romancer to furthermore add blissful synth touches and melodic guitar strains to "Surface of the Sun". Space is the place but we stuck here on earth.
