Review: Up and coming tech house mover Louis Proud has already forged links with many key labels on the global circuit, but this release for Yousef's Circus imprint may well be his biggest splash to date. "So Many Promises" in its original form is a crafty cut that matches sleek and snappy rhythms with a fulsome bassline and a healthy dose of soul thanks to the vocal licks. On remix duties, Nathan Barato delivers a tougher tool splashed with a touch of dub, while Maher Daniel heads into minimal territory with his "Out Of The Box Remix". Bontan however delivers the biggest crowd pleaser with the snappy garage bump and gnarly synth action of his version, rounding out a highly playable release.
