It would be easy to be cynical about this distinctly Balearic release from Luca C & Brigante, a duo previously better known for their retro-futurist house productions. Yet it has a distinctly authentic feel - and not just because it was apparently recorded on the White Isle itself. Musically, its delay-laden mix of slo-mo cosmic disco grooves, 80s alt-pop posturing, woozy downbeat synth-pop and semi-psychedelic acoustics could definitely be considered Balearic. And if that's not enough proof for the cynics, it also features guest vocals from Ali Love (admittedly, not that Balearic), Findlay Brown (very Balearic) and A Mountain of One chanteuse Zeben Jameson (ditto). Most importantly, it's actually rather good.
