Review: The Fuse London sublabel Locus is back this week with a new one by the Amnesia Ibiza affiliated Luca Donzelli, who makes his debut on the London-based label. The Florentinian DJ/producer is in fine form on the Danny Collateraly EP, featuring the rolling and hypnotic tribal tech house of "Raver Danny" and the deep swing of "Chromaphonic" incorporating influences from Detroit and early UK IDM. It receives a remix by Salty Nuts main man Fabe, bringing the Mannheim sound into the mix on his boompty and minimal rendition.

Review: Moscow Records is now firmly established as one of tech-house's most consistent labels, with a penchant for cuts that add excitable elements - think warped acid lines, beffy sub-bass, layered percussion sounds, funk-fuelled electronic riffs and cut-up vocal snippets - to peak-time ready grooves that vary from smooth and seductive, to bold and boisterous. For proof, check this excellent compilation of some of the imprint's 2020 highlights. There's much to get the blood pumping throughout, from the off-kilter tech-funk bounce of Dimish's 'Everyday' and the hazy, sub-heavy hypnotism of Luca Donzelli's 'Der Sphere', to the thickset, mind-altering aggression of Archie Hamilton's remix of Peace Division cut 'What Is The Sound' and the garage-influenced wonkiness of Chris Stussy's 'Wake Ning'.

Review: After releases on Titbit and Wow! Music, Tuscany's Luca Donzelli steps up to deliver a fantastic four track EP on Archie Hamilton's Moscow Records imprint - the 'Get Out People' EP. The Tenax and Amnesia Club mainstay gets straight down to business on the hypnotic main room roller "Der Sphere", then gets all tough and funky on the bouncy title track until he will have you mesmerised by the final ethereal cut titled "Sirens". Although based in Italy, it's clear that the sounds of classic UK tech house and 'Rominimal' have left their indelible mark on Donzelli's production style - and he's all the better for it!

Review: For their sixth instalment, the Bad Klosterlausnitz based Muna Musik return with their biggest lineup yet boasting the current creme de la creme of house music from their own soil and beyond. Right heroes on here, such as Beste Modus boss Cinthie with the bumpin' classic house journey "Hurt Me", Frankfurt Rhein-Main legend Christian Burkhardt is also on top form with the trippy, latin infused minimal house of "Hola". For something dead set on the main room at peak time, Spanish scene hero Hector Couto has you covered with his new school antics. The tough rolling groove of "Ciroco" really satisfies, as does the deep melodic tech house of Luca Donzelli's "Not Ordinary".
