Review: It's been a year since release B/O/M released the For A Ride album, and Family Piknik mark this milestone with a collection of fine remixes. Franz Alice Stern and Matteo Gamba turn "Last Night" into a dreamy break beat techno track, with the original version's vocals woven into the arrangement. Meanwhile, Sebass turns "Last Night" into a dubbed-out track and Subjacent's take on "Audissey" is a shimmering deep techno track. At the other end of the spectrum, there's the big room trance melodies and ominous bass of GIGEE's take on "Brothers". B/O/M have also included a tripped out, live version of "Where Do We Go".

Review: Brighton-based Richard Smith says that his new EP is about evoking the visceral feeling of instrumental body music, shaped by emotion, inspiration or time constraints which evolve, inevitably, at different stages. He last appeared on N.Y.C.-based Cititrax back in 2015 with the track "Moth Holes" on their Tracks Volume 2 compilation - and Smith is still churning out his unholy mixture of classic dance music styles on his new offering Dream Bleeds. Beginning with the gritty electro bass of "Cru", the brooding and slow burning techno of "Bop" through to the shrieking EBM pulsations of "Gloop" and the lo-fi reductionist beats of "Street Cleaner" - strap yourself in for another wild ride fuelled by hardware-driven atonal mayhem.
