Review: Serious collab business as Simon Splice returns to his Exile alias for two big old bruisers on DJ Hybrid's Audio Addict. 'Rattle Speaker' sees him linking with the ubiquitous Manchester MC, man like Madrush for a stripped back and spiky thumper that's all gritty and growling. Deeper again we slurp down some premium uncut jungle juice as Exile links with the bossman DJ Hybrid for 'Junglist Sound'. Expect nothing but high grade bubbly subs and breezy detuned synth tones. Vibes for miles.

Review: The heat has yet to settle on his Chronic EP and rising talent Acuna returns with another big hitter on DJ Hybrid's Audio Addict. This time linking with Manchester mic master Madrush MC, the pair weave two sterling cuts, both laced with venomous tension. 'Babylon System' is every bit as foreboding as and grizzly as the title suggests while 'City Lockdown' takes a deeper, more tense vibe as the pair flex between some buzzy midrange bass hits and a skippy beat. Loaded with two instrumentals for added mixing creativity, Audio Addict smash it once again.

Review: Drippyboiii is back and oh boy, this release is absolutely top notch. For anyone out there who likes their rollers dark and dirty yet precise and engineered with quality in mind, you'll be into this release. With three harsh tracks, this release is just bursting with quality and if we ran a label, we'd certainly be writing these names down for the future. The first track, 'Katana', from Caramel and Madrush MC, excels in its simplicity, with all the work being done in a simple yet devastating drum pattern and its relationship to top-notch bit of menacing MC work. The others follow this pattern: stunningly solid drums, fat basslines and arrangements rooted in simplicity, allowing the small details to shine, especially Neman's 'Land Of The Free', which packs a creative arrangement of fluttering jump stabs and drawn out bass notes. Naughty.

Review: Buckle-up rudeboy, two of Manny's finest link-up for this blazing six-shooter. 'The Real Don' by name, total Gs by nature; Niterider's stripped-back bumps and thumps are the perfect playground for Madrush who's on major dancehall battle cry mode across the EP. Highlights include the riot bassline and throaty overtones of 'Don Gorgon', the swaggering heat of 'Go Mad' and the softer, contemplative sci-fi finale 'Sleeping Pattern'. Dons get it twisted.

Review: Murky Digital are a label who do what their name might suggest in that they release digital murkiness on a regular basis. No Escape is an EP from Euphonique that brings together MC Frost, Guzi & Madrush MC and Saxxon, all of whom have helped contribute to dastardly naughty tracks. 'Switch' is up there with the best of them and it's all about that bassline, an almost foghorn of groaning, fiery proportions which rattles its way through the arrangement. MC Frost also impresses on 'No Escape, a sub-heavy roller which will please the more minimalistic heads amongst you. Banging stuff.
