Review: Regular collaborators Sierra Sam and Marcus Vector join forces again, this time for an elastic, tech-tinged deep house hoedown on Dirt Crew. Both "Cowboy" and "Indien" follow roughly the same template, layering cute, simplistic melodies and odd vocal cut-ups (male choral chanting in the case of "Cowboy") atop bumpin' bass and crystal clear percussion. It's a formula that provides plenty of quirky dancefloor thrills. Falko Brockseiper (crazy name, crazy guy) provides the standout remix, turning "Cowboy" into a swingin' freak house romp (check the re-freaked vocal samples). A deeper, darker rework from Varoslav rounds off a handy EP.
