Review: One of Damian Lazarus's main strengths as a DJ is that he understands the art of being a curator. It probably has a lot to do with his role as A&R for City Rockers and now his own label, but Lazarus is an expert at sourcing music that others may have overlooked and blending it with other gems. It explains why the fourth Get Lost is not full of big tunes on hyped labels, but instead contains the spacey house of Nitin's "Blink Twice", the 808 electro drums of Nico Purman's "Fade Away" and the seductive orchestral woodwind of Mario & Vidis Lazarus's "Kashyyyk" - an anthem in the parallel world where Lazarus reigns .

Review: Lithuania isn't known as a hotspot for house music, but as Silence Please shows, it contains more than its fair share of talented artists. The Few Nolder takes on Markas Palubenka's "Kill Me" and Fink's "Q&A" map out new possibilities for modern deep house, the vocals chopped up over dreamy chords and snappy drums, while Darius Vaikas pushes towards a darker sound. This he achieves with the chilling strings and rippling bass of his interpretation of Mario Basanov's "Machinarium" and the chiming drums of his own "White Eights". But it isn't just Vaikas who embodies the Baltic wind blowing in over Vilnius and Mario & Vidis' "Warung" is an inspired piece of eerie, bleepy house.

Review: The Future Disco brand has long since stopped releasing anything vaguely disco related; these days, it's all about shimmering deep house and tactile, tech-tinged flavours. All Day Dancing is a concept album of sorts, gathering together a selection of warm, breezy tunes that have rocked open-air parties and beachside festivals the World over this summer. As such, it's a strong collection, showcasing such well-regarded gems as Vimes' "Celestial (Reprise)", Ten Walls' picturesque, string and synth trombone-laden "Walking With Elephants", and Tale of Us' chiming, melancholic remix of Mano Le Tough's "Primative People". Throw in further contributions from Dixon & Guy Gerber, Maya Jane Coles and Booka Shade, and you have a sterling selection.

Review: Mario & Vidis drop an all-out monster EP on Germany's favourite tech-house label, Get Physical. You know it's always party time with these guys and their recent EPs have been irresistible thanks to their relentless grooves and floor-pounding beats, but this latest number surpasses all expectations. "Warung" is a nasty, bass-fuelled anthem built strictly for club action, wasting no time in washing you up in its whirling beat pounds and chopped-up bass-licks. Downtown Party Network take the original and completely spin it on its head, giving it a more minimal approach but retaining a seriously powerful low-end to the production, whilst LOPAZZ and Casio Casino Beatdown create a sort of electro-techno hybrid with two remixes just as valid as the original.
