Review: NINETOZERO is a label that will deliver no more than 10 releases in its life-span, so it's not wasting any time or space with who it works with. Drawing from a largely Italian association this time around, Enrico Sangiuliano goes dark and industrial in his electro-tipped "Glitch In Time", while Antonio D'Africa & Sall get their crunch and phasers on in "Skylark". Mattia Saviolo goes sharp and percussive in his electrical "Distant Memories" cut, while taking up that final piece of real estate is the Detroit influences of Alex Lentini & STOMP BOXX's "Diagonal Matrix".

Memento - (7:23) 130 BPM Hot
Red Vision - (7:34) 128 BPM
Review: Following on from his 2019 Twilight of the Idols release, Mattia Saviolo returns to Kraftek. The title track is suitably epic, with dramatic synths soaring over the pulsating, throbbing rhythm as he draws on 90s tech-trance influences. "Memento" sees Saviolo deliver a relentless, pounding rhythm that tapers off into a serene breakdown - but it's only a temporary measure and soon enough, the pummelling drums kick back in. "Red Vision" is the least frenetic track, but it still possesses the same type of ominous, menacing synths that prevailed on the other tracks. Fused with a linear rhythm and reverberating claps, it's just as powerful as the music that preceded it.

Identity EP
Multinode Universe - (7:18) 128 BPM
Identity - (7:22) 128 BPM
Spacecraft - (6:53) 130 BPM Hot
Review: Following on from his 2018 debut on the label, Mattia Saviolo returns with another big room EP. "Multinode Universe" combines a rolling, heads-down groove with one of the most epic synth break downs you'll hear in a techno record. By contrast, "Identity" is deeper and more moody, but it is still underpinned by a rolling rhythm - and it boasts a break that sees the Italian producer deploy airy melodies effectively. Rounding off this release is "Spacecraft"; while not as fast-paced as the two other tracks, its throbbing bass, insistent vocal sample and fragile hooks will ensure that it gets exposure on more discerning dance floors.
