Drum And Bass
Stentah - (5:02) 172 BPM Biggest-selling track on this release
Dabs - "Half Truth" (feat HLZ & Need For Mirrors) - (5:22) 173 BPM
from $1.91
Played by: Dabs
Review: The cleanest, clearest way to destroy the dance, plain and simple. Rocking in harder and darker than anything else on the market right now, Horizons have played a blinder picking up Dabs' latest - has he ever steered us wrong? "Stentah" takes MC Kwality's hypnotic vocals and weaves them on, around and under tribal drums so crispy they'll bring the house down anywhere. Play this out loud and often - the world needs it. On the other side, "Half Truth" also features the production talents of HLZ and Need For Mirrors, rolling rapid and smooth, glistening and fluid like liquid mercury. A seriously high quality release, get both in your repertoire, they'll be requested all summer.

Skull & Bones - (5:51) 172 BPM Biggest-selling track on this release
Hourglass - (6:08) 172 BPM
from $1.91
Review: Horizons take to the deep, atmospheric end of D&B for Dabs' latest release, an emotive collaboration with MC Kwality and European king of the filthy bassline Mortem. Starting off with intriguing middle eastern sounds, booming tribal beats and scene-setting flows from Kwality, it's a dark, dangerous stepper fit for the night. Following up is a track filled with soul and sophistication, as silky vocals create the perfect juxtaposition with techy beats and rolling bass. Two very different tracks but each perfectly showcasing each producer's talents. Dabs and Mortem should already be a buy-on-sight, if not, get to know.

Control (feat MC Kwality) - (2:45) 50 BPM
Impossible (feat Robert Dallas) - (4:06) 59 BPM Biggest-selling track on this release
from $1.91
Review: Featuring album lead-off track "Impossible" and the dark hip-hop & dancehall hybrid "Control" with Robert Dallas on the mic, "Impossible" starts off with sweet vocals and skanking keyboards. "Control" features Kwality on the microphone in a half-time hip hop style, laden with dub effects and circling synthesizers. Contrast comes from Kwality's dancehall-style vocals flowing around the sparse drums while getting wrapped into the delay effects that run through the center of the production. Showcasing two contrasting sides of the Numa Crew on this deadly drop, Liondub is bringing International pressure on the bass scene for 2014.
