Review: Recently spotted on Phase and last clocked on Subdue back in May on the label's first VA, O/Mega returns with this impressive trio of D&B cuts. 'Monolith' hits hard and fast with its interesting groove that stutters and purrs in a way that you could imagine Mark System crafting. 'All Over Me' flexes more of a vocal vibe with a deeper, pulsating groove while 'Whistle' finishes off the set with a wild west hook that you'll be humming for days. Howdy partners!

Review: Damagement from the management! Dub Damage continue their 50th release anniversary with the third and final part of their 'Dub Damage 50' album project. Once again we're treated to an epic dose of futurism as more new gen talent lay down stinkers, slappers and sizzlers galore. Highlights include the wild riff Skarz' remix of BLACKPHIL's 'Hope = Despair', the savage machete-like grizzles and flames of Machine Attax's 'Laniakea', the viciousness and tightly coiled spring-like nature of Squint Eastwood's 'Terror' and the switch-flipping depth, soul and charm of Zoner's finale 'Mind Games'. Review: You'd hope that the good men and women behind Young Guns Recordings don't actually carry weapons, but this EP proves that they do. Mega lands on the label with a four-tracker that's rooted in the current contours of the UK underground, a riotous and rough release that isn't too bothered about its occasionally unseemly fringes. 'Terrified' is a good name for the first track, an expansive stepper that oozes and pulses from its core with a surprising amount of groove. 'Street Knowledge' is the other standout track of the four, with a rolling percussive line that gets its weight from a diving sine bass and wobbly ambience. Sick stuff.

Review: For us there is no doubting Scratcha DVA's legendary status with underground music in the UK, having traversed multiple corners of the scene over his many years of service. Here we take a look at some of his classic grimey bangers, kicking off with 'Kill All A Dem', which has to go down as one of the most instantly recognizable 140 rollers of all time. This is followed up the gnarly sub rolls and circulating melodies of 'Taliban', originally vocalled by Wiley. Next, his remix of 'Dangerous Liaisons', a hard hitting metallic design which held a famous Chipmunk vocal on 'Mr Miyagi'. We finish up with a look at the more funky influenced drum workings of Scratcha's 'Apocalypto', putting the finishing touches on a fantastic collection.

Review: Watch out! You're gonna get hit. From the drop this 'Mind Control' is on a rampage and is locked, loaded and ready to shoot you down with an onslaught of laser gunshot! 'Never Over' is very typical floor filling jump up, it is a slower stepper with a squelching bass, scraping pneumatic drills and a tough in check film sample. 'Mumbo Jumbo' and 'Famous Killer' follow a similar format of filthy basslines and a whole heap of lasers, get ready for some screw faces on the floor.
